Date: September 10, 2025
Time: 3:00 – 4:00 pm ET

Program Description

Cruise ship on the ocean

“There is no mainstream vacation more accessible than a cruise,” says Mitch Sturgeon — and he should know. Since becoming a wheelchair user, Mitch has embarked on 33 cruises with his wife Kim. He is eager to share the lessons they have learned along the way.

Mitch will cover:

  • How to choose the best ships and itineraries,
  • how to select an accessible cabin,
  • what to pack,
  • how to make the most of activities offered onboard and ashore,
  • and tips for staying safe and healthy while far from home.

If you have ever dreamed of taking a cruise but hesitated because of your disability, you will want to hear what Mitch has to say.”
