Accessibility Features on Mobile Apple Devices – February 18, 2025

Program Description

Recorded: February 18, 2025 – Are you an iPad or iPhone user? These portable devices have many free built-in features to help users with different abilities operate their devices more easily and independently.

Most of us are familiar with adjusting Text Size or Display Brightness, and about using the Speech-to-Text feature for hands-free messaging. But did you know that your iPad or iPhone can help you focus by activating the Background Sounds feature? Or that Voice Control provides hands-free operation of the entire device? Switch Access allows users with limited mobility to operate the device using remote switches. And the Live Speech feature reads aloud what you type.

Join us to learn about and explore the Accessibility settings and exciting options that your iPad or iPhone offer.
