Program Description

Everyone benefits from content that is easy to use and understand.
Making a great document is more than just typing the correct words. To make sure your information can reach the largest number of people, the document needs to be accessible. This means it can be used by everyone, including people with disabilities. Thinking about accessibility first is important for everyone—for individuals, for companies, and for our communities.
This online training will teach you how to make your materials usable by everyone. Here are the main things you will learn about creating accessible documents:
- Visual Presentation: Learn about font size and style, color contrast, and using color to convey meaning.
- Learn how built-in features provide accessible document navigation, and best practices for hyperlink formatting.
- Learn about alt-text and why it is needed.
- Learn about built-in accessibility checker features and additional manual checking considerations.
